How do I fit a thin tube?

  1. Select the correct size for the thin tube.

  2. Cut the thicker part and the hook off the thin tube.

  3. Slide the standard thick tube over the thin tube. Cut it at an angle so that it can be pulled through the red or blue LifeShell sleeve. At least 3 mm of the thicker part should remain.

  4. Pull the tube through the red or blue sleeve so the ridges or the thick section of the thin tube clamp into the sleeve with the tube.

  5. Clip or cut the tube off as close to the sleeve as possible.

The distance between the LifeShell and the thin tube should be around 3 mm after the curve.
Always ensure the thin tube fits around the ear correctly. If the thin tube is fitted incorrectly, it can cause the earpiece to come out of the ear.
If necessary, bend the thin tube a little by heating it. You can use the bending wire that you can order from Pluggerz for this.

Tip: Remove the tube by pushing it back using the thick pin on the tool.
